BB Glow Semi-Permenant Foundation

The BB Glow procedure utilizes microneedling technology in order to insert a tinted serum underneath the top layers of the skin. Not only will you see results in the tone and brightness of your complexion, but you will also reap the revitalizing benefits of microneedling.

The instrument used to carry out the procedure creates controlled injuries within the top layer of the skin. These micro-injuries, along with the application of nutrient rich serums, stimulates intense repair systems within the skin along with the production of collagen and elastin.

Collagen and Elastin are proteins responsible for holding our skin together and they support its ability to “bounce back”. As these proteins are directed to the treatment area during healing, the skin becomes more even and rejuvenated while scars, dark spots, and large pores significantly reduce in appearance.  Learn more about the healing effects of microneedling here!

Who is BB Glow Recommended For?

BB Glow Treatment is recommended for those looking for more bright and radient skin with a more even skin tone. You may even observe the treatment causes discoloration, freckles, and finelines to be less visible.

It is imporant to note, for optimal results with this treatment it must be done on clear skin. Some of our client’s choose to have a facial a couple days prior to the treatment to ensure impurities do not hinder the tinting. Hair, dry skin, and lots of blackheads are all elements that can lessen the results of the BB Glow treatment

Your BB Glow Appointment

The typical duration of the BB Glow treatment is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Upon arrival, a topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area. The numbing cream will take 45 minutes to reach peak effectiveness. We will provide a comfy place for you to relax during this time.

As the procedure commences, tinted-serum will be applied to the treatment area as the microneedling instrument pushes the serum beneath the first layer of your skin. You may feel slight pressure from the instrument but the procedure is otherwise painless.

Recovery

Please allow at least 1 day for recovery as the skin can become sensitive to dirt and bacteria in the days immediately following the procedure. Avoid exfoliants and retinol during the week immediately following the procedure. Remember to wash your masks!
